Excavation
We dig below organic material and topsoil to reach stable ground. Depth depends on your soil — Patrick reads it during your consultation.

Compacted sub-base
Crushed stone, compacted in lifts, built to drain and resist freeze-thaw movement. This is what stops heaving.

Drainage engineering
Water is the enemy. We plan how water moves away from and under the slab so it never pools against the base.

Steel reinforcement
Rebar sized to the slab and the expected loads. The reinforcement holds the concrete together as a structural mat.

Properly mixed concrete
The right mix design for New Hampshire conditions — poured at the right time, in the right conditions.

Sealed surface
A quality sealer protects the color and surface from water, UV, and wear. Reseal every two to three years.

Why do stamped concrete patios crack in New Hampshire?
